How To Handle Guitar Fals
Daftar Isi
Back again on my article, this time
I will discuss about how to handle Fals guitars. The fals derived from the
false word are expressed when the guitar or bass string tones do not conform to
predefined standards.
The fals we mean are not an error
condition in tuning or tuning strings, or because STELAN differs from standard
in general (e.g. drop C, drop A, and so on). The fals we mean are the
circumstances in which we have correctly tuning in each of the strings
(evidenced by the precise tuning steps as well as the tone on the tuner), but
the sound when plucked or digenjreng together is not the same as we expected.
Have you ever experienced it? When
all the rules in the guitar tuning have been done correctly, but when playing
the guitar, it turns out that the strings still produce inappropriate tones or
sounds.
When that happens, then the thing
to check is how is the condition of our guitar? Does the string distance from
the bridge to the nut match? Many cases of such distances are too long or too
short. This usually happens to electric guitars or electric bass which is
indeed a bridge can be arranged.
Although it often occurs on
electric guitars and electric bass, but in fact in some cases, it can also be
experienced by acoustic guitars. Well in this opportunity, we will only fix the
string distance error on an electric guitar or electric bass because if the
acoustic guitar, it is quite rare especially on an acoustic guitar with a
famous and original brand.
When the error occurs because of a
string spacing error, the resulting sound between the strings does not match,
whereas each string is properly tuning. If so, we have to prepare a screwdriver
Plus (+) (screwdriver adapted to the needs) and also an ear that still
concentrates hihi.
The step to check the inconsistency
of string distances from bridges and nuts is quite simple. First we pluck the
strings in free condition or without us pressing on each fret, we pluck without
rotating the dryer. We listen to the tone, then we select the strings back but
with the state pressing the string on column 12 or in the colon. The sound
generated from the strings when free has to match the strings when pressed on
the 12th column.
When it is not true, we make saddle
adjustments on the bridge or tremolo. Many cases occur because the spacing of
strings is too long, then we simply loosen the bolts in the saddle, when it is
too short, then we tighten the bolts on the saddle. Do this until the strings
can be heard or pitched when the center is free and when the middle presses
column 12. Perform the steps on each
string.
Don't forget before doing the above
steps, try the string in a not too strict state, this is to avoid the
occurrence of the string. The
end of the word hopefully useful and see you.
